About this event
Join us as we take you back to the 1940's, to Waverley Abbey house for what promises to be a varied and picturesque day of fashion & portraiture. With 2 beautiful period models and lovely period backdrops we aim to have you coming home with plenty of eye catching images! The historical settings will aim to push the boundaries of your photography, giving you the opportunity to photograph both in an indoor and outdoor setting.
Waverley House was built in 1725 and is is steeped in history and has had several owners including Florence Nightingale's uncle. It was also used as a military hospital during the first world war and over 5000 soldiers received care here. We have exclusive use of our own room and also have use of the main staircase for photography which will provide us with some lovely period interiors. We will also be abe to photograph around the grounds (weather permitting).
What to expect:
- Beautiful fashion models
- A stately home full of character
- A photo opportunity everywhere you turn
- Masses of atmosphere
- Wonderful period backdrops
This event will start at a very reasonable 10.00 with coffees and introductions. Shooting will start soon after and we will work on location at the house until lunchtime. Our afternoon session will see us work through to around 16.30, giving us plenty of shooting opportunities at the Abbey. We are hoping to have inclusive teas and coffees available at Waverley house.
